Held every Friday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Castle Square, the market now hosts over 20 exhibitors selling fresh, local and seasonal produce from Pembrokeshire and its borders.

Products include seasonal vegetables and fruit, award-winning beef, pork and lamb, with organic choices, farm-fresh fish and poultry, sourdough bread and other homemade breads. , farmhouse cheeses, homemade cakes and preserves and much more. like beautiful cut flowers, soft alpaca wool products and other crafts.

Cllr Paul Miller, Cabinet Member for Economics, Tourism, Leisure and Culture, urged everyone to support the market.

“By shopping at our farmers markets, you will not only be able to choose from a delicious range of products, but you will also be supporting local businesses, which have worked so hard – especially over the past 18 months – and are a valuable to the Pembrokeshire economy, ”said Cllr Miller.

Joe Welch, market manager and food manager at Pembrokeshire County Council, praised traders for allowing the market to continue during the closings.

“Haverfordwest was among the few who managed to continue, albeit on a smaller scale, which was really appreciated by its customers,” she said. “He also introduced a new ordering and collecting system which continued and proved to be very popular.”

She added, “We are also delighted that many new customers have started using the market and we wish many more!
