Lights 4 Hope supports local families with Holiday Light Show

The Lights 4 Hope Driving Light Show at Okeeheelee Park raises funds to help local families in need.

Last year, the Lights 4 Hope Driving Light Show at Okeeheelee Park welcomed approximately 30,000 guests for a smooth cruise through holiday music and fantastic light shows.

The event is now in its fourth year and opened in mid-November.

The light show takes place Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Okeeheelee Park near Pooch Pines Dog Park.

Proceeds from the annual show are used to directly support local families struggling with children suffering from illness or life-changing physical changes.

“Due to the resounding success of the past year and the incredible sponsorship that has taken place this year, Lights 4 Hope has been able to bless many families,” said Director of Community Relations Meghan Buser. “We have been in contact with many local families to think of ways to give them the greatest joy through gifts, gift cards, Christmas trees and other financial aid. The organization personally wraps and delivers these gifts to each family at their home. Smiles are priceless and we are happy to be able to offer some relief and joy to their lives.

The show is a perfect way to spend time with family and friends while staying safe and away from the crowds. Guests are encouraged to roll down their windows to enjoy the festive music and take photos. Customers are also welcome to tag @ lights4hope and share their memories on social media.

“We appreciate the support our community has shown us. It has truly been a community effort, and we look forward to continuing to have that local impact, ”said Buser. “All the hard work throughout the year pays off when you see the smiles of the children and families we serve. It was a blessing that we could do all of this and give back. Thank you all for supporting this charity and helping us brighten the days of many deserving children. “

Okeeheelee Park is located at 7715 Forest Hill Blvd., and guests enter from the north side of Forest Hill. The cost is $ 15 per vehicle (up to 8 passengers) and can be purchased on site (cash and credit accepted) or online. For more information, visit
