Leopard Imaging to showcase 2D/3D solutions based on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin at Embedded Vision Summit

The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Development Kit delivers 275 trillion operations per second (TOPS), delivering more than 8 times the processing power of its predecessor, Jetson AGX Xavier. Jetson AGX Orin enables developers to create and deploy the largest and most complex models needed to solve advanced AI and robotics challenges in 3D perception, multi-sensor fusion and other fields. Delivering server-class performance for cutting-edge AI, new production Jetson AGX Orin modules will be available in July, while Orin NX modules will arrive in September.

As an elite member of the NVIDIA Partner Network, Leopard Imaging works closely with NVIDIA to develop embedded vision systems to meet the growing demand for robotics, advanced AI, industrial machine vision, and autonomous machine applications. This joint effort enables Leopard Imaging to offer its customers hardware and software development as well as comprehensive design and manufacturing services.

Leopard Imaging presents several demos of embedded vision systems running on the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI platform. One of the demos will be a 4K ultra-high definition camera capable of supporting high dynamic range video at 30 frames per second for applications such as gesture recognition. Leveraging the new Jetson AGX Orin, Leopard Imaging will demonstrate full advanced AI 4K Embedded system for demanding edge and autonomous AI applications.

Leopard Imaging is also showcasing its 3D Depth Stereo Hawk Camera, which offers a wide 120-degree horizontal field of view and incorporates two onsemi AR0234CS 120 fps global shutter color image sensors with a 1920 (H) active pixel array. x 1200 (V). The 3D camera is also coupled with a 6-axis IMU for very precise (sub-microsecond) time stamping of camera images relative to the IMU, which is necessary for high-precision robotic perception.

In addition to stereoscopic 3D cameras, Leopard Imaging is also showcasing the latest ToF (Time of Flight) based depth camera launched in March this year. The Leopard Imaging ToF camera is optimized to provide high precision depth perception. Using the NVIDIA Jetson platform, the Leopard Imaging ToF camera works without contrast, edges or angles. It is also designed to support high-speed motion and near real-time operation.
