Homes vary in size from 900 to 2,000 square feet in two and four bedroom designs. All houses have covered porches, covered parking and modern interior design. The rooms are large and open, the main bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and the windows are large to let in lots of light. Wood cabinetry, woven rugs, and small touches of greenery add pops of color to the homes’ neutral palette. A very modern and clean design creates a fluid and elegant look inside and out.

Designed by Logan Architecture, the collection includes four houses in total. Every home is strong, sturdy, secure and ready to move into. Their 3D printed construction is proof that the future is now.
The 3D printing of each house is due to the Texan construction company ICON, which used their Vulcan construction system. Through this process, 3D printing robotics deposits cement on ridged surfaces. According to ICON, this system creates a robust and highly weather resistant design.
3D printing technology “provides safer, more resilient homes that are designed to withstand fire, flood, wind and other natural disasters better than conventionally constructed homes and can be built in weeks.” , the company said in a statement.
Printing the homes took five to seven days and was completed in March 2021. According to ICON, East 17th Street Residences “are the first 3D printed homes for sale in the United States and ready to move in.”
